The Hung'ry Bag Scholarship

Once upon a time, on the 13th Felt Tour in Hungary which started on the 13th of September, 13 feltmakers were in a classroom...

Judit Pócs was demonstrating a beautifully color blended purse in her class in 2024. Once laid out she had no time to decorate and finish her piece so she turned it over to the class. Everyone added pieces and bits from their silk stash they brought… and the Hung’ry bag project was born!

It was decided the bag would take a trip and visit each participant’s home (from 6 countries around the globe) for one month. They would use the bag in each photo to help share with the others the highlights of their spot in the world.

​The bag kicked off its adventures in beautiful Tasmania in 2024 October!

At the end of the 12 month adventure the Hung’ry bag will be raffled off to raise money for someone who would like to join a Hungary tour with Flóra, but needs some financial help.
