West Hungary Felt Tour

In the West-Hungary Tour,

We'll meet up in Budapest and head to the North and the West part of the country. We'll get to see the village of Zebegény, the medieval town of Győr, and Hungary's one and only 120-year old felt factory in Kőszeg.

We'll have the opportunity of soaking and rejuvenating in the beautiful thermal lake of Hévíz. 
Other events,  festivities, and exhibits will be incorporated into the itinerary as they are posted to the public.

The internationally recognized, innovative instructor team:

Kinga Huszti will teach a one-day workshop on felted-sculpted, double-walled hats. 

Judit Tóth-Pócs will be teaching a two-day workshop on felted bags. 

Vanda Róbert, will be teaching a one-and-a-half-day workshop on making a stitched felt pouch. In this rarely-taught class she'll introduce a relief-like stitching technique  that she mastered and brought it to a higher level. 

Flóra Carlile-Kovács will guide a surface design workshop held in the Multifelt Factory. This is an extraordinary opportunity to witness the ancient machinery do the felting and fulling of the hand-decorated woolen fabric.
